Around the Mar Menor — Europe’s largest saltwater lagoon — a cluster of courses has made this the most active new-build golf market on the coast. Los Alcázares is a genuine Spanish beach town, not a purpose-built resort: a long lagoon-front promenade, calm shallow water, and a year-round community. New apartments and villas around the courses are priced well below equivalent stock on Orihuela Costa, which is exactly why so many of our golf buyers end up here. Both Murcia’s Corvera airport (about 25 minutes) and Alicante (about an hour) serve the area.
